AAVAS JO 2018

Summary

under the supervision of AA school of architects in London and with collaboration from NASA we completed the AA visiting Jordan course , a course which aims at designing habitats for humans on mars and to be part of the mars exploration process , we went to Wadi Rum and Petra which are really amazing sites in order to simulate mars' topography , this is our group project which concept is to lower the costs of construction that are caused by shipping material's from earth to mars and we achieved that by implementing our design to nature and the materials available on mars , we were inspired by the Petra siq which had a very beautiful environment different from the desert because of its topography , our construction method is resembled by prefabricated high tech human pods that land in canyons on mars , these pods contain a " wire mesh "' firing system which creates a mesh on the canyon , the final step is covering this wire mesh by a bonding agent which is similar to concrete that can be made out of materials found on mars , then the mixture will be sprayed using SWARM robotics technology.
